- Wyatt, a Rhodesian Ridgeback from New Jersey, possesses an incredible life-saving skill: he is able to detect cancer with his nose. He travels the country helping to detect cancer in firemen.
- Judge, a Czech shepherd, dedicated his life to protecting the town of West Deptfod, New Jersey with his owner and partner on the police force, Sergeant Michael Franks. In Judge’s seven-year career, he apprehended 152 suspects, recovered three stolen vehicles, three firearms and $47,000 in drug money. After his retirement, Judge was diagnosed with Cushing’s disease. In their final walk to the vet, Judge was honored by 100 saluting police officers.
- Drago, a Spinone Italiano from Connecticut, used his shaggy coat and gentle nature to help school children in the aftermath of the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Connecticut.
- Eudy and Tula, Maremma sheepdogs, protect the dwindling population of little penguins in Victoria, Australia. Eudy & Tula took over the guard from Oddball, the inspiration for a 2015 film titled ‘Oddball’, to protect the penguins from fox and hawks.
