National Geographic Travel today announced the launch of a new online hub, “Montana’s Ultimate Road Trips,” which features an interactive digital map showcasing eight road trips throughout Montana that offer a purposeful and authentic way for visitors to experience the state. The hub is a result of the partnership between National Geographic Travel and the Montana Office of Tourism and Business Development (MOTBD).
“Montana’s Ultimate Road Trips” highlights the best routes to visit all corners of Montana. Developed around themes such as “Main Street Adventures,” “Yellowstone Country” and “Great Plains Adventure,” the road trips each take four to six days to complete and vary in distance from 265 to 400 miles. Each suggested itinerary features must-visit sites, recommendations for places to stay and eat, seasonal notes and detours. The interactive map displays points of interests along each route that users may click on to view photos, information and tips.
The hub also houses stunning photo galleries and a video of Montana so road trippers can preview some of the sites they can expect to see. “Montana’s Ultimate Road Trips” may be explored online at http://travel.nationalgeographic.com/travel/local-montana/road-trips/.

Previously, MOTBD partnered with National Geographic Travel for the online hub “Where the Locals Go: Montana,” which showcases authentic, insider travel experiences from locals in the know.
